Behold the miracle of water supply. Enugu state government called on the citizens of Enugu state to play their part by reporting any case of vandalism

Hon. Princess Obiajulu Ugwu, (Deputy Chief Whip Enugu)stressed the importance of regular maintenance and repair of water facilities to ensure their long-term functionality and effectiveness. As the committee chairman, she expressed her dedication to collaborating with the Enugu Water Corporation and other stakeholders to achieve the objective of providing uninterrupted water supply to the people of Enugu State.

Mr. Andreas Gebauer, the Managing Director of Enugu Water Corporation, praised Princess Obiajulu for her proactive approach to water management and assured that the corporation would implement the recommendations. He also highlighted various ongoing projects aimed at enhancing water supply and distribution in the state.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to establish a joint task force comprising representatives from the Enugu Water Corporation, the House Committee on water, community leaders, and security agencies. The task force will be responsible for safeguarding and maintaining water facilities, as well as addressing challenges related to topography and aging infrastructure.

The Managing Director and the committee chairman expressed optimism that through collaboration and concerted efforts, the water needs of the people of Enugu State would be met, and the promise of 24/7 water supply would be fulfilled. They urged citizens to conserve water and report any incidents of vandalism or damage to water facilities.
