Another appointment to Queen Bianca Ojukwu
Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, has extended a new job offer to Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of the late Biafran Warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
The latest appointment for Ambassador Ojukwu is as a member of the Governing Council for Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) in Igbariam. The announcement was made on Tuesday, June 4, in a statement released by the Governor’s Press Secretary.
The new Governing Council will be led by former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Professor Chidi Odinkalu, serving as the Pro-Chancellor/Chairman. Other members of the Council include Mrs. Ifeoma Ekwueme, Chief Christopher Ndubuisi, and H.R.H. Igwe Oranu Chris Chidume of Omor.
The Press Secretary stated that the new Council, assembled with a focus on excellence, integrity, and strategic leadership, will offer guidance and oversight for the continuous progress and advancement of the state-owned university.
It is worth noting that Governor Soludo had also appointed Ambassador Ojukwu in April 2022 as the Secretary of the Truth, Justice and Peace Committee, which is also chaired by Professor Odinkalu.
