APC finally breaks silence by criticizing the demolition activities of Governor Peter Mbah's administration

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State is calling for an investigation into the demolition activities of Governor Peter Mbah’s administration. The party expresses concern about the lack of transparency and potential misuse of funds.

While the APC previously refrained from commenting due to hopes for the new administration’s success and the ongoing legal challenges to Governor Mbah’s legitimacy, the party feels compelled to speak out due to recent developments.

The demolition of private homes, businesses, and public facilities, including schools and orphanages, has caused significant hardship and economic disruption.

The APC questions the justification for these demolitions and the criteria used to select targets. They believe a proper cost-benefit analysis should be conducted before such projects commence.

Despite a significant increase in federal allocation and state revenue, the APC sees no corresponding improvement in infrastructure or social services. They question how these funds are being spent.

The demolitions have caused financial hardship, job losses, and social unrest. The APC emphasizes the need to prioritize the well-being of Enugu citizens.
