The Federal Government has granted approval to annex
Achara Uturu Community Hospital to the Federal Medical Center, Umuahia, thanks to the efforts of Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State and Chairman House Committee on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Control. This historic approval marks the first of its kind and is expected to bring significant relief to residents of rural areas who previously had to travel long distances to access medical care at FMC Umuahia.
The upgrade will not only save people money but also reduce the time and energy spent traveling, making healthcare more accessible and convenient for the community.
