A wave of excitement still sweeps through the Coal Camp community in Enugu State following the commissioning of a constructed block of six classrooms at Coal Camp Primary School by Honourable Chimaobi Sam Atu, the dynamic Member of the House of Representatives representing Enugu North and South Federal Constituency.

The project, executed under the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SSAP-SDGs), stands as a testament to Atu’s unwavering commitment to education and community development.

The commissioning ceremony, held amidst cheers from pupils, teachers, and residents, marked the fulfillment of a key campaign promise made by Atu during the 2023 elections. Addressing the gathering, the lawmaker emphasized the critical role of primary education as the bedrock of a prosperous future.

His first 100 days alone saw the submission of 13 bills to the National Assembly, including initiatives to establish a Federal Medical Centre and a School of Skills Acquisition in his constituency. From grading rural roads to installing solar streetlights in communities like Ugwuaji and Amechi, he has illuminated both literal and figurative pathways for his constituents.
